Nd: YAG laser (neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet) is a crystal that is used
as a lasing medium for solid-state lasers. The procedure is a non-invasive, non-
ablative treatment which penetrates deep into the skin to selectively target and
shrink deep-lying blood vessels encouraging collagen growth deep beneath the skin.
This results in reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles of the surface of the
skin, thus improving the overall texture of the skin. Laser beams when focused on
the upper layer of the epidermis will creates heat and sheds dead cells too. It also
breaks the superficial pigmentation and evens the skin tone. It can also treat skin
concerns such as scars, acne scars, hyperpigmentation and sunspots apart from
aiding in anti-aging.
Carbon laser treatment is the trendiest laser skin rejuvenation. Issues concerning
severe sun damage, uneven tone and texture, deeper wrinkles and acne scars can
be treated with Carbon laser. Apart from this, it is also recommended for skin
tightening, a smooth and even complexion and a radiant glow treatment. The results

Carbon Laser toning improves the appearance of the skin, both in short and long term resulting in instant facial rejuvenation with a uniform skin complexion. It acts as an anti-aging treatment that is safe and effective where results can be seen in one session.
According to Skin anatomy, the presence of melanin, a brown pigment determines
the colour of the skin. These brown pigments are made up of cells called
melanocytes which are present in the upper layer of the skin. In skin conditions like
melasma and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, the melanocytes are
hyperactive and the melanin pigments are pushed deeper into the dermal layer of
the skin, thus causing to appear as dark spots or patches on the outerlook.
Laser toning targets the melanin in the skin, and reduces the size and quantity of the
melanin by reducing the activity of the melanocytes. The melanin, targeted by the
laser, is broken down and removed by the skin over the next few days to weeks.
Over a few sessions, the pigment becomes much reduced, and the skin appears
clearer.
The Fractional Q switch ND-yag laser system, used by us provides the best laser
toning and is a non-ablative laser. That means there is no damage to the epidermal
